UBC Botanical Garden’s Artist in Residence Dr. Erin Despard has created two new zines on propagation. The first one is on the topic of seeds and the second one is about cuttings. Both zines are available to scroll through in an online format below (click on the image of the zine to have it expand into a larger view) and below each one is a download a printable version. Instructions for folding the printed versions can be found here.

Community Propagation Bulletin Board: These zines and the designs included in them are part of a community design project realized by Erin and Jingzhou Sun, a graduate student in UBC’s School of Architecture and Landscape Architecture. A display describing the project was installed in community centres on campus over the last few weeks and will be available for viewing at UBC Botanical Garden beginning this weekend.
