Please check back frequently to see what we are planning.

Peter Wharton Memorial Fund
Peter Wharton had a long and productive career with UBC Botanical Garden. For 30 years, he was instrumental in developing the David C. Lam Asian Garden, one of the highlights of the Botanical Garden. In honour of his contributions to horticulture and plant conservation, and in consultation with his family, UBC Botanical Garden established the Peter Wharton Memorial Fund to support lectures on plant conservation and biodiversity.

UBC Botanical Garden Bird-Collison Retrofitting Fund
It is estimated that as many as 10,000 bird fatalities occur each year on the UBC Vancouver campus. There are bird collision hot-spots within UBC Botanical Garden that need to be addressed. Your support of this fund helps retrofit reflective glass surfaces to decrease bird fatalities within the Garden.
