Looking to capture your special day at either UBC Botanical Garden or Nitobe Memorial Garden? The cost for wedding, engagement, or personal promotional photography is $250, which includes a two-hour photo session and admission to the Garden (up to maximum 15 people). For groups over 15, additional people can be added at our group rates. Both gardens can be used with an additional payment of $50 if visited on the same day (must be booked in advance; please note that Nitobe Memorial Garden has a maximum capacity of 25 people due to the sensitivity of the garden). Commercial Photography & Filming
Photography: All photos taken for commercial purposes (including business-related social media pages) must be approved by the Garden’s Bookings Coordinator. Please allow adequate time for approval prior to your requested shoot date.
Filming: Want to shoot a student film or commercial film here? You must contact the UBC Film Liaison office first. Read through their website, provide them with the required information and proposed shooting dates, and they will request approval from us. Upon approval, you will deal with the UBC Film Liaison office for contractual and insurance negotiations, and with the Garden’s Bookings Coordinator to set up scouting and logistics.
