The UBC Centre for Plant Research is a University of British Columbia academic research unit affiliated with UBC Botanical Garden. Presently, three researchers and their graduate students comprise the Centre for Plant Research:

• Plant molecular systematics, including deep plant phylogeny (Cronk and Graham)
• Plant evolutionary genomics (Cronk, Graham and Adams)
• Plant evolution and systematics (Cronk and Graham)
• Comparative plastid genomics (Graham)
• Plant gene expression and alternative splicing, particularly in polyploids (Adams)
