UBC Botanical Garden curates a collection of ~30,000 plants from ~8000 accessions representing 5000 taxa from temperate regions around the world. Learn more about our most significant collections below.

  • Maples

    UBC Botanical Garden’s globally significant maple collection is ranked second for conservation, featuring diverse, wild-collected species with documented provenance.

    Rhododendrons

    UBC Botanical Garden’s rhododendron collection, developed over decades, features extensive material from historic UK estates and Asian expeditions.
