No booking required! Join our expert guides on weekends to explore the highlights of UBC Botanical Garden and Nitobe Memorial Garden. Discover seasonal plants, biodiversity, and the stories behind these special places in a relaxed and engaging setting. Regular admission applies.
Tours go ahead rain or shine but may occasionally be cancelled due to illness or volunteer availability. Please ask at our Admission Desk when you check in. Anyone can join, including Tourism Challenge visitors.
Note: These tours are for individuals, families, and small groups. They are not intended for organized groups such as senior centres, garden clubs, birthday parties, or community groups. If you’d like to coordinate a group tour, please see our Guided Tours and Field Trips.
UBC Botanical Garden
Saturdays and Sundays from May 2nd to September 30th 2026
Tours start at 11:00am & 1:30pm and are around an hour in length
(Please note: There will be no 11:00 AM tour on May 3 due to the Vancouver Marathon. The 1:30 PM tour will proceed as scheduled).
Nitobe Memorial Garden
Saturdays from April 18th to September 12th 2026
Tours start at 11:00am and are around an hour in length
(Please note: There will be no tour on May 9 due to power shut-down at Nitobe Memorial Garden).
