Standard Membership
$79.00 + tax
- Unlimited free admission for a full year for up to two named adult cardholders to UBC Botanical Garden & Nitobe Memorial Garden
- Unlimited free admission for cardholders’ children and grandchildren
- 10% discount on general admission for friends (6 people max)
- 10% or greater discount at the Shop and Garden Centre on selected items
- 10% or greater discount on selected educational and outreach programs
- Invitations to Garden Members-only events
- Free admission to selected Events at the Garden
- Subscriptions to the Garden’s monthly e-newsletter
Premium Membership
$99.00 + tax
- Unlimited free admission for a full year for up to two named adult cardholders to UBC Botanical Garden & Nitobe Memorial Garden
- Unlimited free admission for cardholders’ children and grandchildren
- Unlimited access to Greenheart TreeWalk during the operational season (typically Tuesday through Sunday from April – October, 10am-3:30pm)
- 10% discount on general admission for friends (6 people max)
- 10% or greater discount at the Shop and Garden Centre on selected items
- 10% or greater discount on selected educational and outreach programs
- Invitations to Garden Members-only events
- Free admission to selected Events at the Garden
- Subscriptions to the Garden’s monthly e-newsletter
Discount for UBC Alumni
UBC Alumni with “Acard” receive a 50% off discount on all yearly garden memberships. Offer cannot be combined with other promotions or discounts.

No. Membership benefits are not transferable. Only active, designated cardholders are eligible for daily admission and member discounts.
Yes. Children and grandchildren aged 18 and under receive free admission when accompanied by the cardholder.
Members receive a 10% discount on general admission for up to six guests per primary cardholder, per visit.
Yes. Members receive a 10% discount on selected items at the Shop and Garden Centre. This discount cannot be combined with other offers.
Members receive a 10% discount on selected educational and outreach programs. This discount does not apply to the Horticulture Training Program.
Yes. A valid membership card with a current expiry date must be presented at the time of purchase to receive admission, discounts, or partner benefits.
Members receive free admission to selected Garden events. This benefit does not apply to the Apple Festival or Lunar New Year Market.
Membership information is securely stored on the UBC Botanical Garden website and Shopify databases to administer member benefits and discounts.

UBC Alumni with a valid UBC Acard receive 50% off a Garden Membership. If you purchase a Garden Membership with Greenheart TreeWalk access, the 50% discount applies only to the base Garden Membership portion. Offer cannot be combined with other promotions or discounts.
To redeem this offer, please bring your UBC Acard on your first visit. A Garden Membership card will be issued for future visits.
