UBC Botanical Garden and Nitobe Memorial Garden are temporarily closed in response to COVID-19

In light of the evolving COVID-19 coronavirus outbreak, UBC Botanical Garden and Nitobe Memorial Garden will both be temporarily closed to the public, effective end of day Tuesday, March 17 until further notice. This includes all tours, public programs and events, and field trips.
While there have been no presumptive or confirmed cases of COV-19 at our facilities, or at the University of British Columbia, and public risk in Canada remains low, this decision has been made with careful consideration, as we strive to be part of the local solution to this global situation.
