In light of the evolving COVID-19 coronavirus outbreak, UBC Botanical Garden and Nitobe Memorial Garden will both be temporarily closed to the public, effective end of day Tuesday, March 17 until further notice. This includes all tours, public programs and events, and field trips.
While there have been no presumptive or confirmed cases of COV-19 at our facilities, or at the University of British Columbia, and public risk in Canada remains low, this decision has been made with careful consideration, as we strive to be part of the local solution to this global situation.
For those who have registered for programs, we will be contacting everyone individually to refund your registration fees. If you have any questions about public programs, please contact us at email@example.com
Field Trips and School Programs
For educators who have booked a field trip over the coming weeks, we will be contacting you to discuss cancellation and rebooking options. If you have questions about field trips, please contact us at firstname.lastname@example.org.
For those who have booked events at our facilities in the next few weeks, we are in the process of contacting everyone individually to discuss your rebooking and cancellation options. If you have any questions about bookings, please contact us at email@example.com.
