In recognition of Pride Month, UBC Botanical Garden is excited to share a special offer for members of the LGBTQ+ community looking to getting married this summer!
We are offering a discount on COVID-friendly, elopement-style wedding packages for LGBTQ+ couples getting married at UBC Botanical Garden on Sunday, July 25, 2021. This wedding package will include:
- Venue rental at Wharton Glade at UBC Botanical Garden
- Set up of chairs (max. 50 due to COVID-19 restrictions)
- Wedding commissioner
- Signing table
- Golf cart rental for guests with accessibility needs
Price: $600 (regular value $1400)
This package provides the marriage ceremony only. Catering services are not included.
Times are available as follows and are first come, first serve:
- 10am-11:30am
- 12pm-1:30pm
- 2pm-3:30pm
This offer aims to increase access for communities who may face barriers to getting married and expressing their love.
