This festive workshop is designed for children ages 6-12 to learn how to make their own festive wreaths using plant materials from the Garden. The 2.5-hour workshop will guide children to build a wreath for your door or table. Also included in the workshop is a walking tour in the Garden, highlighting the plants featured in our wreaths. Additional wreaths are for sale at our Shop in the Garden during the holiday season.
Important Notes: Children do not require an adult to attend this workshop. However, one adult chaperone may accompany each child if desired. Staff and volunteers will help children assemble their wreaths. Adults who attend are there to support their child and will not have the opportunity to create their own wreath. Families are welcome to join in the Garden tour. Participants may be outdoors for brief periods of time during the workshop and the tour will be outside, so please dress appropriately.
