This festive workshop is designed for children ages 6-12 and will guide children on how to create their very own handmade holiday wreath using plant materials from the Garden. The second half of the workshop will include a short walking tour in the Garden, highlighting some of the plants featured for wreaths. Additional holiday wreaths are for sale at our Shop in the Garden during the holiday season.
Important Notes: Children do not require an adult to attend this workshop. However, one adult chaperone may accompany each child if desired. Staff and volunteers will help children assemble their wreaths. Adults who attend are there to support their children and will not have the opportunity to create their own wreaths. Families are welcome to join in the Garden tour. Participants may be outdoors for brief periods of time during the workshop and the tour will be outside, so please dress appropriately for the weather including footwear suitable for all terrains.
