Inspired by UBC Botanical Garden’s natural treasures, participants spend three hours learning tips and techniques for making a natural holiday wreath and will leave with their own beautifully handmade wreath to decorate their door or to gift to a friend. Additional wreaths are for sale at our Shop in the Garden during the holiday season.
When: We will be hosting 3-hour workshops on:
- Saturday, November 29th 2025, 9:00am to 12:00pm
- Saturday, November 29th 2025, 1:00pm to 4:00pm
- Sunday November 30th 2025, 9:00am to 12:00pm
Where: UBC Botanical Garden, Reception Centre, 6804 SW Marine Drive
Cost: $90.00 Public plus tax. $85.00 for Members, UBC students, staff, faculty & UNA, plus taxes. Please apply code WREATHMAKING2025 at checkout

Important Notes: Participants will be outdoors for brief periods of time, so please dress appropriately. Please bring a pair of secateurs/pruners, gardening gloves, and a previous year’s wreath frame to reuse if you have these items. It is optional to bring winter foliage and branches from your yard. Light refreshments will be provided.
Cancellation Policies: We do not have the capacity to change tickets for a different time or refund tickets. If the event is cancelled due to circumstances beyond our control, ticket holders will receive a gift card for the value of their tickets that can be redeemed for UBC Botanical Garden and Nitobe Memorial Garden admission and in The Shop in the Garden.
