Construction Update

UBC Botanical Garden has completed the pathway restoration and upgrading phase of our irrigation system replacement and expansion project in the David C. Lam Asian Garden. The newly surfaced pathways will greatly improve accessibility in the Garden, especially in wet weather. The final phase of our irrigation system upgrade, including beautification of the construction area, is underway, focussing on specific areas with minimal impact to our visitors. The new irrigation system supports our mission to assemble, curate and maintain a documented collection of temperate plants for the purposes of research, conservation, education, community outreach and public display. We thank our members, visitors and volunteers for their support and patience.
