Soil Chemistry: Investigation of Soil pH and Plant Health

In this lesson, students will explore chemical reactions—focusing specifically on acid-base reactions. This lesson can be completed in the classroom or paired with a tour of the UBC Botanical Gardens. This hands-on and interactive lesson will engage students in learning about biodiversity and identifying native, non-native, and invasive species of B.C., Canada.
