This Grade 4 outdoor learning lesson engages students in exploring a school garden to understand where healthy food comes from and how it supports the body. Through hands-on investigation, students identify edible plants and connect different plant parts to their role in nutrition and well-being. The lesson integrates Health, Science, Art, and Language Arts through discussion, observation, and a reflective postcard activity that allows students to communicate their learning in meaningful ways.
