We are excited to announce new infrastructure improvement projects at the Garden. Two educational pods are being installed, one in our BC Rainforest Garden and the second in Lake Jekway adjacent to our Main Lawn. Our second project is the David C. Lam Asian Garden irrigation system replacement and expansion which will commence on March 19th, 2018. These valuable improvements support and further our mission to assemble, curate and maintain a documented collection of temperate plants for the purposes of research, conservation, education, community outreach and public display.
Limited closures of garden areas are expected over the coming weeks throughout our construction period, and will be actively updated as projects progress.
We are replacing a decades old irrigation system and upgrading major pathways in the Asian Garden.
Located at UBC, the Garden is close to many stellar attractions.
