The Urasenke Foundation of Vancouver hosts tea ceremonies at Nitobe Memorial Garden throughout the summer. Visitors attending the ceremony can witness the formal preparation of tea and participate as guests.
Tea ceremonies are held at 12:00 pm (noon), 1:00 pm, 2:00 pm and 3:00 pm on the last Saturday of the month during spring, summer and early fall. Please check back in 2018 for an announcement of tea ceremony dates.
Cost is $10. Please note garden admission fee is separate. Reservations are strongly encouraged to avoid disappointment as space is limited to ten people for each ceremony. Reservations of more than two people must be paid in advance. Socks are required.
