Description: Guided by the talented and experienced Friends of the Garden (FOGS) and inspired by the UBC Botanical Garden’s natural treasures, you will learn tips and techniques for making your very own natural holiday creation. Participants will leave with their own beautifully handmade wreath to decorate their door or to gift to a friend. Additional wreaths are for sale at our Shop in the Garden during the holiday season.
Important Notes: Participants will be outdoors for brief periods of time, so please dress appropriately. Please bring your own pair of secateurs/pruners and gardening gloves. It is optional to bring winter foliage and branches from your yard. Refreshments will be provided.
Cancellation & Refund Policies: UBC Botanical Garden reserves the right to cancel any workshop or reduce the number of instructional hours, should the class not reach 25% capacity 5 days before the class. In the event that a course is canceled, UBC Botanical Garden will offer the option of transferring to another course or obtaining a full refund. All cancellations must be made at least 5 working days before the start of the course by contacting firstname.lastname@example.org. A $15 processing fee is charged for cancellations. There is no fee for transferring the registration to another person.
