Water Wise Tour in Mandarin

Join us for tips and tricks to be water wise this summer! Stroll through the Garden and view plants that have adapted to dry conditions. Food Garden watering techniques, plant selection and garden design are important considerations for being wise about water use. Even in our temperate rainforest, summertime gardening has an impact on our collective water usage. Come and learn how to outsmart this resource.

Participants will learn:

  • How can I save water everyday?
  • Where does my water come from?
  • How do plants grow in dry conditions?
  • How do I set up irrigation in my garden?

Important Notes: This is a walking tour of the Garden. We suggest that participants wear closed-toed shoes and be prepared for any weather. Tour will meet outside the Shop in the Garden.
